We prefer to bid from your solid model CAD file.Having the CAD file not only gives us a better idea of the details of your design, it gives us a faster start on the tooling. How to send us a CAD file.We can open and use standard IGES files. We use Surfcam to develop CAM programs to machine molds for our RIM process. Surfcam can read Native Design (.dsn) and IGES (.igs) files. If your design cannot be translated into an IGES file, give us a call and we will help you transmit the file. By EmailFiles under 8 MB can be transmitted as attachments to email. Creating ZIP files often works well.
